No build rights?

I managed to make my free region, I even succeded in loading my "old" sim with load oar. I can jump to my region with hypergrid, all of my previous buildings are there, but.... I can't build or edit anything. My build button is grayed out. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello Ringo,

have you unlink the mega region before loading your oar file ? Because it's by default a mega region but you have to unlick it (making 4 separate regions) before loading an oar, or you can have this bug. Then, when it's done, you can link them together again.
If you don't use vehicules, it's maybe more interesting for you to keep them unlick.

Thanks for your quick answer Calice. Now another question, how do I unlink the mega region. I found a command "unlink-region <local name>". Is that the right command, and what do I fill in at <local name>?

To unlick the mega region, you have to :

1) Search the 'New World Studio' folder and open it.
2) Choose the'opensim' folder and open it. ", "Choose the 'diva-r115592' folder and open it.
3) Choose the 'bin' folder and open it.
4) Choose the 'config-include' file and open it.
5) Choose the 'DivaPreferences' file.
6) Open it with the 'Notepad'for example.
7) In the [Startup] paragraph, on the last line of it (CombineContiguousRegions), change 'true' ...
8) ... to put 'false' and save.

Then, before typing the command to load your oar backup, just type :
change nameoftheregion
to indicate the region you want to receive the backup on.

Hi Ringo,

Warning if you will to disabled the mega region : Before you do to get off ALL objects of your four regions .
If not, you will have a bug with the objects.
