logins are currently restricted on my Britney Spears account …Britney spears is the username. What could be going on? was it cause of the activation e-mail? cause i got an error when trying to activate it

What do you mean? So imprudence viewer doesn't work??? :( i'm testing out grids to see which one is my favorite...

Imprudence is a good viewer ; me i use it too :)

Sorry but i speak only a little english :)
I would to say : you have try several time (some different days) to connect on the grid or not ?

ok so this new account works BUT how come on the first account i made i got like this link is invalid or already activated error? any help on that error on teh first account the second account is successful though

Can't log in, says log ins are restricted, cant make a new account to see if there is a problem with account as new account page is missing as well, is someone working on NWG or is the server kaput.

Hope this is not a part of role play worlds as that's going to be scraped, and is for sale,,lol.

I cant see any notices to the effect that there is work going on ?
I was thinking if the world/sim is being worked on, some type of notice would be shown, I haven't seen anything, no emails no notice, no nothing.

are we there yet.

So how am I or anyone supposed to log in if we cant see account creation page, as i said its missing, I dont think that was part of the update, as i have tried 3 different viewers to just log on to nwg, dont think that your so called upgrade would block normal use, and make old accounts void even if you upgraded to 7.2 ,, ?

Ooops !

The page you requested has been obsconded with by knomes. Find hippos quick! That wasn't supposed to happen. If you have found this page via an external link, then please contact the website administrator to make them aware of this error.

Otherwise try the menu or search bar to find what you are looking for.

So what your saying is that this is normal, and that I cant log in to nwg as just a visitor without land is normal, somehow I don't think so, otherwise we have a conflict of what is seen to be "normal" log in.

And by the way, that account creation message that i posted abouv was not via an external link.

August 2011 Maintenance

A maintenance will be done the Wednesday 3 rd of August from 6.00 P.M (UTC Time) or 10.00 A.M PST (Viewer Time).

The grid will be closed and will reopen on thursday as soon as possible.

Maintenance purpose : server optimization (no opensim update).

Maintenance complete.

Only thing that was posted as to any kind of work, and it says in bracket no opensim update, as this was the last of anykind of posting on the website there has been no notification of any work or downtime of NWG,

So saying that was normal is not at all true, as normaly something would be posted as news or an alert as to extended down time to service, as i try to log on I see 0 online, but im thinking thats normal to the amount of ppl that can get online as there is something wrong with getting online.

First of all, hello aten

This upgrade, and the fact that the grid would be closed, have been noticed on the website blog, on the facebook NWG group and also in world with notifications on the residents group and many panels on Welcome, Free Market and the Sandbox. And everywhere you can see that people having nws region had to do an oar backup before the upgrade.

This is why some services are closed for the moment. Keep an eye on the blog to see when the upgrade will be completly done.

I did see notices inworld but never wrote anything down in RL, i never use facebook or any of the blogs, just thought that it was odd that any of the 3rd party sites were needed when you have the NWG site that basicaly had an old post for work that had been done previously, as i dont use face book or twitter, as they are 3rd party to me actualy finding out from the horses mouth rather than a blog that would be by my accounting, not first hand information.
Sorry if this might seem rude to some ppl just that it all seemed odd to me that anyone would need to go any further than the web site for NWG to find accurate information about whats going on.
